Another trailer for Gran Turismo 5 and another new cool car. Yet, the game is still not out. This time it was a new concept car, Toyota FT-86G.  Many suspect that the game is not released just yet, because with the new 3D television coming to market the game will come out at the same time and be in 3D. Since the demo of Gran Turismo 5 came out few weeks ago, many gamers have been busy playing this great racing game. In fifteen European countries, Australia and New Zealand gamers download and played GT5 over 1 million times. This demo, which will be available up until January 24, lets players play with a Nissan 370Z around Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The top 20 players from chosen regions will have a change to join the GT Academy. This is the second tease of the game. The first one was the GT5 Prologue and was very popular. Many people bought the game and enjoy it still! If you would like to get this game for free, please consider Points2Shop.

Finally, this long a waited game will be soon on both European and American PSN on December 17th. The demo will be a demo of the first non-prologue game.
Here is a little more about the demo from JoyStiq:
"In Europe, the demo will allow players to enter the "GT Academy Time Trial" contest, in which the top 20 players from select countries 7 will be eligible for a chance to enter the GT Academy. The GT Academy training program will prepare the ultimate GT fan to compete in the European GT4 Cup in a real race-spec Nissan 370Z. In America and Canada, the winner of the time trial will get a trip to the Indianapolis 500. Sure, these are tantalizing grand prizes -- but we're more excited to see that GT5 is becoming a real game. Now, how about a release date?"

60 millions dollars on a game? Yep, you heard it right, that's how much it has cost Polyphony Digital to develop this one game. They have spent 5 years on developing this game and it is still not done. The number came from creative lead Kazunori Yamauchi who was on-hand demoing his game. The reason why it is taking so long and costs so much money, is because in order to "get it right", you have to spend money and time. Yamauchi also added that "we threw the legacy code from GT4 and started from scratch ... It's been five years from GT4 and that's the same amount of time it took to develop the first GT4." Even though he didn't give a date when the game will be out, he did say, "That's more depending on SCEA marketing decisions."
