 This is not really a huge surprise, but its pretty impressive. Final Fantasy XIII has broken all records in Japan selling over a million copies in the first day! It has reached 1,501,000 sold units by the end of the first week. Which is more than Metal Gear Solid sold up until now which was a very popular game and the best-seller up until Final Fantasy XIII. This, of course, increased the sales of the PS3 itself. The sales double in the last week or so, going from 75k to 237 units! This is very impressive and a huge successes for Sony!  Finally, this long a waited game will be soon on both European and American PSN on December 17th. The demo will be a demo of the first non-prologue game. Here is a little more about the demo from JoyStiq: "In Europe, the demo will allow players to enter the "GT Academy Time Trial" contest, in which the top 20 players from select countries 7 will be eligible for a chance to enter the GT Academy. The GT Academy training program will prepare the ultimate GT fan to compete in the European GT4 Cup in a real race-spec Nissan 370Z. In America and Canada, the winner of the time trial will get a trip to the Indianapolis 500. Sure, these are tantalizing grand prizes -- but we're more excited to see that GT5 is becoming a real game. Now, how about a release date?"  I remember when I i played Max Payne 1 and 2, those games where great! Take-Two has been working on Max Payne 3's release for quite some time and I guess its not ready for release just yet! Do you have a Japanese PSN account? If you do, you probably won't care about this new demo; but if you don't, this is a good news! Demo of Platinum Games' Boyonetta is out for US. It is the same thing as the Japanese demo, so if you got it already, no need to download it again.
